- You will work closely with the Channel Head to drive sales strategy for mapped accounts, aligning with the channel's overall direction.
- Your primary objective will be to assist the Channel Head in implementing and executing business plans and initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive results.
- You will lead a unit of PDMs to achieve business targets, focusing on developing new business ideas and leading the continuous development of the Brokerage channel sales platform.
- Effective sales management will be essential, including reviewing the business performance of mapped accounts regularly in accordance with sales KPIs.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with respective partners and their key personnel to drive and implement new initiatives, unlocking business potential and penetrating the market share.
- An additional responsibility will be to facilitate the delivery of quality, compliant, and consistent business by the TRs, ensuring they meet AIA's business standards and principles.
- You will conduct regular reviews of business performance and sales quality practices to guarantee compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Driving digital enablement utilization both internally and externally will be crucial to your success in this role.
- Career development planning for subordinates will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities, along with providing on-the-job coaching to support them in handling day-to-day partner-related issues.
- Sharing new ideas, best practices, and market intelligence with subordinates while being a team player will be vital to achieving our goals.
- You will ensure that team members performing regulated activities have obtained the necessary licenses and fulfilled the licensing requirements.
About You
- A university/college graduate with at least 6 years of relevant experience and 2 years of managerial experience is preferred.
- Demonstrating a self-motivated and self-driven personality, with the ability to work independently, is essential.
- Good organizational and management skills are required, as well as knowledge of insurance and investment products.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and Chinese/Mandarin, are necessary.
- A working knowledge of MS office applications is expected.
- If the job involves regulated activities, obtaining relevant licenses will be required.
