We are seeking an experienced Relationship Development Manager to join our team at China CITIC Bank International Limited.



Job Description

The primary focus of this role is to develop and maintain strong relationships with high net worth individual customers in mainland China and Hong Kong, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.




  • Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire and retain high net worth individual customers, leveraging existing networks and partnerships.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customers' financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Products & Portfolio Specialists, to ensure seamless delivery of wealth management services and products.
  • Actively participate in marketing and promotional activities to enhance customer engagement and drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering controls, and other relevant policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CITIC Group executives and industry partners, to identify opportunities for business development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to inform business decisions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set business objectives, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements



To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Possess CFP / CFA / HKRFP qualification as well as IIQAS and other required qualifications under SFC for selling insurance and investment products.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant banking experience in serving high net worth individual customers in retail bank or private bank.
  • Familiarity with KYC and account documentation, as well as knowledge of wealth management products.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management practices, sales and marketing strategies, risk assessment, and credit analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
