The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Global Institutional Banking Section as a Strategic Banking Relationship Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing banking business activities with government and semi-government organizations and financial institutions. Your primary goal will be to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies to achieve them.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • To follow the policy and direction of the Team/Branch and assist supervisors in accomplishing the Team's/Branch's overall duties and responsibilities.
  • To assist Section Head in preparing general business reports for business review meetings.
  • To assist Section Head in implementing marketing or general management policies.
  • To handle customer inquiries, KYC, account opening, maintenance documentation, and loan documentation for potential and existing customers.
  • To provide backup support to other Business Partners during daily operations and leave when needed.
  • To assist supervisors in preparing credit proposals or call memos and collecting related information.
  • To monitor existing credit commitments to identify potential credit problems and ensure conformity with agreement terms together with CA Section.
  • To recommend and implement appropriate action if an unfavorable trend develops.

Your Requirements

  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Corporate Banking, with a focus on covering relevant organizations/institutions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $HKD 500,000 - $700,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect to receive a range of benefits, including bonuses, medical insurance, and retirement plans.
