We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Strategic Public Sector Development Manager to join our team at The Sterling Group.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is HKD 250,000 - 300,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Client Service Lead, you will be responsible for originating and building executive relationships and pursuing strategic deals in the Government/Public sector in Hong Kong. You will develop a 3-year portfolio and account growth strategy for the Government Sector, driving annual revenue from both existing and new accounts with high delivered margin.

You will also assist in rebuilding the Government account team by identifying, approaching, and persuading suitable candidates. Additionally, you will work closely with the account team to shape and organize the required effort to support relationship development and opportunity pursuits.

Furthermore, you will integrate closely with HQ Strategic Business Group and capability groups to bring in new ideas and solutions to address client business needs. You will promote and build the Company brand in the Public Sector via external market development events.

Acting as a strategic partner to clients, you will achieve a high client satisfaction score through a deep understanding of business needs via close client engagement and interaction. You will develop a point of view or thought leadership once a year to strengthen the Company brand position in the marketplace.

You will develop local Government and Education specific campaigns, identify and explore potential Government opportunities in Hong Kong, leverage consulting skills and expertise in technology to create and generate value for clients, leading to strategic opportunities.

Manage and align different client stakeholders, who often have different concerns, to lead to concrete sales origination. Together with the delivery leadership, oversee the successful delivery of sold projects and client satisfaction.

Manage and collaborate with different Lines of Business to sell and deliver differentiated services to clients.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have a degree holder in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, with 20 years or more in IT or ICT Consulting industry and 8 years or more experience focusing on the Public Sector.

You should also have understanding and ability to apply social styles techniques to manage stakeholders, key account/client domain knowledge, and excellent communication skills and ability to work well with executive-level and management staff.
