Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Webbe International. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our client portfolio in the derivatives market.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with 5-6 years of experience in derivative sales roles within a bank, trading house or NBFI. They will also possess a solid understanding of derivative products and be familiar with the onboarding/credit approval process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and onboard new clients for OTC hedging, with a focus on growing our franchise and expanding our client base.
  • Coordinate KYC, credit approval, and legal paperwork for new clients.
  • Pricing and deal execution for existing and new clients.
  • Attend conferences and networking events to expand our client portfolio and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Support new business initiatives and product rollouts as needed.
  • May require travel overseas to cover clients and attend industry events.
Competencies and Skills
  • Strong sales skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of derivative products and their applications.
  • Familiarity with onboarding/credit approval processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of risk and compliance requirements.
