We invite experienced HR professionals to apply for the role of Compensation and Benefits Manager at one of our premier clients, a dynamic mixed-use development in the heart of the city. This position offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and manage compensation and benefits strategies that drive talent attraction, retention, and engagement objectives.
Responsibilities
- Compensation Management:
- Conduct market analyses to ensure competitive and industry-aligned compensation packages.
- Develop and implement compensation policies, structures, and guidelines that attract and retain top talent.
- Oversee annual salary reviews and adjustments, ensuring fairness and equity.
- Provide guidance on compensation-related decisions and employee inquiries.
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage comprehensive benefits packages, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other employee benefits.
- Oversee benefits enrollment and administration processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze utilization patterns and cost trends to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
- Communicate benefits information to employees, addressing questions and concerns.
- Total Rewards Strategy:
- Collaborate with the HR and leadership teams to develop a holistic total rewards strategy.
- Design and administer incentive and recognition programs that drive performance and engagement.
- Evaluate the alignment of compensation and benefits programs with company culture, values, and business goals.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Prepare and submit required reports and filings related to employee compensation and benefits.
- Analyze compensation and benefits data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging compensation and benefits strategies.
- Identify areas for improvement in compensation and benefits programs and collaborate with the HR team to implement changes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits management.
- Strong knowledge of compensation design, job evaluation, and performance-based pay systems.
- Proficient in benefits administration, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Thorough understanding of relevant labour laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong written and verbal ability in English.
Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
