Job Duties:

The Commercial Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and significantly enhancing the client experience for Crozier HK within the art logistics industry. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will focus on achieving sales targets, improving market share, and elevating customer satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the Crozier HK account service/project team to meet revenue and EBITDA targets while enhancing customer retention.
  2. Deliver annual budget growth for revenue and EBITDA.
  3. Increase customer retention and reduce dilution.
  4. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of pipeline reporting.
  5. Oversee key sectors of customer accounts, driving engagement and satisfaction through personalized service and proactive communication.
  6. Manage sales performance through effective leadership, focusing on productivity, individual performance, and teamwork.
  7. Define and implement a commercial strategy to achieve accelerated growth targets for revenue and EBITDA.
  8. Collaborate with and coordinate with diverse internal teams across Crozier HK and Crozier's global offices—including marketing, sales, and customer service—to achieve revenue goals.
  9. Collaborate with clients to identify and implement the ultimate solutions that meet their needs, as we transition to account management and consultative sales.
  10. Develop business plan to aggressively grow revenue from enterprise customers, including pricing strategies.
  11. Advocate for innovations and investments to better serve the needs of our customer base.
  12. Create a customer experience strategy that delivers a competitive advantage and sustains profitability.
  13. Foster a customer-focused culture by implementing initiatives that drive satisfaction, loyalty, and retention in an efficient, standardized manner.
  14. Drive and influence future service roadmaps to enhance customer experience.
  15. Serve as a senior advisor to General Manager, evaluating product performance to proactively identify business opportunities.
  16. Conduct market research and analysis to develop detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development, etc.).
  17. Understand market trends and share insights internally to inform strategic decisions.
  18. Define pricing strategies to win deals and establish partnerships within the local ecosystem.

Key Skills, Requirements, and Competencies:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Ability to lead teams to achieve revenue and EBITDA targets.
  2. Sales Acumen: Proven track record of driving revenue growth, preferably in the fine art logistics or art industry.
  3. Market Analysis: Expertise in identifying trends and opportunities within fine art logistics.
  4. Client Relationship Management: Strong skills in building relationships, networking with clients in different sectors.
  5. Cross-Department Collaboration: Effective coordination with local and global teams to meet revenue goals.
  6. Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial metrics and budget management specific to the art sector.
  7. Innovative Mindset: Advocacy for innovations that meet the unique needs of the clients.
  8. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address challenges.
  9. Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate the dynamic art industry.

Experience:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Art History, or related field; MBA preferred.
  2. Experience: 7-10 years in a commercial leadership role within fine art logistics, the fine arts industry or luxury experience industry.
  3. Proven Track Record: Success in driving revenue growth and market share.
  4. Project Management: Experience managing art handling and transportation projects.
  5. Networking Skills: Established connections in the art industry community for business development.
