Global Sales Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sales plans and business strategies to build new relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Follow-up and maintain current customers to increase revenue and freight volume.
  • Engage with Account Management, Product Leaders, and Vertical Heads to develop target accounts within assigned regions.
  • Meet and exceed designated KPIs regarding client visits via the Customer Retention Management system.
  • Engage in market research with sales support teams to increase individual sales pipeline.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in global sales preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience selling freight forwarding in the chemical vertical.
  • Knowledge about Ocean Freight, Air Freight or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics company.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
