Job Description

The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is seeking an exceptional professional to support the realisation of its vision and mission.

This role will focus on strengthening the museum ladder of engagement by securing patron participation through multi-year annual commitments, increased giving, restricted giving, and endowment support. You will assist in developing fund-raising proposals and other relevant materials to support the growth of our patronage programme.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Manager, Development of M+ to secure patron participation through various commitment levels;
  • Developing fund-raising proposals and supporting the growth of the patronage programme;
  • Conducting researches and analyses to identify prospects for major giving and patronage programmes;
  • Serving as a point of contact for donors, patrons, and prospects, managing their queries and expectations;
  • Expanding prospect engagement through effective diversification and best-practice patronage programme administration;
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure a regular flow of information and generate prospect intelligence and capture patron feedback;
  • In-charge of team campaigns and events, focusing on prospective supporter recruitment;
  • Performing any other ad hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Recognised university degree;
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to both corporates and non-profit organisations;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundraising / sales and marketing, and familiarity with working in a fundraising or sales environment;
  • Detail-oriented approach to cultivation and stewardship activities;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
