Job Overview

In the role of Senior SME Banking Relationship Manager at DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, you will be responsible for leading a team of Relationship Managers to drive growth in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) business. This position requires a strong understanding of SME banking solutions and excellent leadership skills to achieve sales targets and goals.

About You
  • You should have a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.
  • Good credit evaluation skills are essential.
  • You must possess excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Putonghua.
  • A strong background in interpersonal and negotiation skills is required.
  • PRC cross-border business experience would be advantageous.
  • You should have good teamwork spirit and be registered RI with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8; or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Relationship Managers to grow the SME business by setting sales targets and goals, providing training and guidance to achieve defined objectives.
  • Manage existing SME customers' portfolios by extending suitable banking solutions and defending the portfolio through exploring business opportunities that align with overall strategy.
  • Work towards target goals set in KPIs by defending existing customer portfolios and reactivating sleeping customers to align with department/cluster's strategy.
  • Cross-sell and upsell a full range of appropriate SME banking solutions according to customer needs.
  • Timely submit credit reviews, CDD reviews, and various reports with supporting documents to improve overall credit review extension rate for SME/PMT Borrowing.
  • Conduct ongoing KYC/KYB of existing corporate customers strictly following internal and external regulations and policies.
  • Maintain a good quality loan and deposit portfolio through proper monitoring of account performance and business viability of customers.
  • Protect bank information and assets under authorized and authenticated usage.
  • Comply with highest regulatory conduct, compliance standards, and practices as defined by internal and external requirements including Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and more.
  • Perform regulated activities specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).
