Job Description
As a Sales Executive at G-P, you will lead the charge in breaking down barriers to global business. Using strong consultative selling skills, you will balance contacting warm inbound leads and driving self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to achieve team goals and work towards team's revenue goals. You will assume responsibility for all aspects of the sales cycle, from outreach and follow-up with both incoming and self-generated leads nationwide, through proposal to deal close. Proactive prospecting, building relationships by understanding their business and challenges, drafting and following up on proposals, overcoming objections and closing sales are key components of this role. Maintaining a strong pipeline to meet assigned sales quotas and metrics is essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need 5+ years of proven experience in technology sales, data related software and/or cloud-based applications. You must have a track record of selling Business Value vs Product and be an excellent verbal and written communicator. Relevant competitor knowledge across current and targeted accounts is also crucial.
