Business Development Representative

As a market leader in consumer banking, we offer a full spectrum of products and services, including deposits, investments, insurance, mortgages, credit cards and personal loans.
We are looking for a talented Sales Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new business and growing our customer base. You will work closely with our product and marketing teams to develop sales strategies and tactics that drive results. Your goal will be to exceed sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- To identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building
- To develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- To provide excellent customer service and support to our existing customers
- To stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity, and to use this knowledge to inform sales strategies
- To collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements:
- A secondary education holder or equivalent, preferably with experience in sales or customer-facing roles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Good awareness of compliance and company guidelines, with the ability to operate within these parameters
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
