Job Summary

The Associate Director, Business Development will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a defined sales strategy to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline focusing on local and large markets
  • Convert identified prospects into clients and manage handovers to Account Management Teams
  • Develop cross-sell opportunities by demonstrating risk and people expertise and solving clients' needs
  • Lead and manage responses to tenders and develop quality presentations as needed
  • Drive cross-selling and up-selling activities, including introducing Aon United colleagues/services
  • Follow Aon sales process protocols, including clearly defined sales strategy and activity, accurate pipeline reporting updates through Aon Connect
Requirements:
  • University graduate with minimum 10 years' working experience in Employee Benefits in broker firm(s) or insurance company(ies)
  • Holder of FLMI or passed in IIQE Paper I, II, III & IV preferred
  • Mature and self-starter with good organization skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Good analytics and negotiation skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage
  • Good command of computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
