Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Platform and Market Structure Development team as a Strategic Fund Platform Director. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in leading the Integrated Fund Platform, designing the business strategy, shaping the commercial value proposition, and developing the infrastructure of the new platform.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy to drive the growth and success of the Integrated Fund Platform.
  • Drive the development of the platform's infrastructure and business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Engage with key stakeholders in the market to understand the industrial landscape, build strategic partnerships, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Achieve business goals by continuously adding new funds onto the platform and engaging distribution channels.
  • Enhance the overall effectiveness and commercial viability of the platform through data-driven insights and analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and adapt to the competitive environment to maintain the platform's competitive edge.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related subject.
  • At least 15 years' relevant experience in the fund industry, with at least 5 years at a management level.
  • Solid understanding of the fund ecosystem in Hong Kong and knowledge of Mainland China fund industry-related regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent managerial, analytical, strategic thinking, networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with proficiency in Putonghua being an advantage.

Location and Shift Information

The successful candidate will be based at HKEX - Exchange Square and will work a standard 40-hour week, with a scheduled weekly hours of 40.
