We are seeking a seasoned Executive Director to join our team at WIT Talent Solutions Limited.
- This role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with institutional clients across the APAC region, including global hedge funds, long-only funds, and pension funds.
- The ideal candidate will provide market research and analysis to clients to help them make informed investment decisions, staying up-to-date with market trends, news, and events that could impact securities being traded.
- Strong collaboration with internal teams, such as Equity Research Analysts and Investment Bankers, is essential to deliver a comprehensive suite of investment services and solutions to clients.
- The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities and participate in marketing efforts to promote the firm's equity trading services in the Asia region.
- Key responsibilities include recommending annual and long-range objectives, policies, and plans for equity business in Pan Asia, directing investment policy to achieve optimum portfolio performance, and ensuring maximum revenue generation through value-added services.
- The Executive Director will also oversee sales activities with sales trading, research, and corporate finance business, devise strategic programs, and coordinate related transactions.
- Another key aspect of this role is facilitating corporate access to investors, including organizing conferences, seminars, non-deal roadshows, and bespoke trips.
- Excellent communication skills are crucial to support equity research analysts in achieving higher rankings in client evaluations and external polls.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in regional equity sales, with a proven track record of generating revenues from existing institutional clients.
- Solid understanding of financial analysis, accounting, and general financial knowledge.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial products and markets, with the ability to work effectively in an equity sales and trading environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Highly fluent in English; Cantonese and/or Mandarin are advantageous.
- An SFC Type 1 License is mandatory.
