Job Overview

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic transactions with top-tier Chinese corporate and public sector clients, ensuring strong relationships and value-added services.
  • Collaborate with Banking and Capital Markets teams to identify cross-selling opportunities across various private and public sectors.
  • Drive client engagement through buying and selling securities, providing hedging or financing solutions using derivatives for all asset classes (Rates/FX/Spread Products/Commodities/Equities).
  • Develop a coordinated strategy across specified product lines (local, regional, and/or global) to achieve ambitious goals in market and wallet share from identified clients.
  • Lead business products to achieve strategic growth and market share objectives.
  • Partner closely with key businesses and functions to ensure proper product deployment based on thorough understanding of clients' needs.
  • Take a lead role in fostering an environment of collaboration by interfacing with internal partners to enhance share of mind with clients, increase dialogue, and deliver expertise.
  • Understand and analyze clients' businesses and exposures to provide tailored sales solutions in full coordination with relevant business partners.
  • Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and supervision, expense discipline, and ethics.
  • Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation.


Key Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in client-facing roles with a proven track record of growing and maintaining relationships through value-added service and commercial skills.
  • An entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.


Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
