Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Benefits Business Partner to join our team at Capital Group. As a key member of our Global Benefits Team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our benefits strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Strategy and Operations
    • Develop and implement benefits strategies that align with Capital Group's overall business objectives.
    • Manage the day-to-day operational effectiveness of all benefits programs and processes in the APAC region.
  • Consultant and Provider Management
    • Manage relationships with consultants and providers in respective countries throughout APAC, ensuring contract management and timely renewal.
  • Benefits Communications
    • Manage benefit communications, including Open Enrollment, in partnership with leadership team and in coordination with Global Benefits team.
  • Benefits Information Management
    • Ensure that benefits information is maintained and up to date on CGWeb and other relevant platforms or documents.
  • Pension Services and Payroll
    • Oversee the pension services and their interaction with payroll.
  • Benefits Surveys and Analysis
    • Prepare all relevant input for benefits surveys participation in all 6 countries.
    • Analyze results of benefits surveys and prepare rationale and recommendations for potential adjustments.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Trends
    • Keep abreast of regulation evolution in terms of pension plans, and related benefits and insurances and benefits trends.
  • Consulting and Problem-Solving
    • Demonstrate consulting skills by resolving complex issues and applying knowledge of Capital's plans and summary plan descriptions to everyday situations.
  • Global Benefits Team Collaboration
    • Coordinate with the Global Benefits Team members in overseeing offerings that cross regions.
  • Team Development and Support
    • Serve as a resource to team members to foster development.
  • Complex Case Management
    • In close collaboration with Shared Services, help manage complex/escalated cases.
  • Process Improvement and Quality
    • Apply experience and expertise to establish and improve workflow and processes and contribute to the end-to-end process quality.
  • Initiatives and Training
    • Lead and/or participate in initiatives that have broad impact to the business.
    • Facilitate training sessions to explain Benefits to associates and reinforce engagement.
  • Benefits Promotion and Communication
    • Organize events related to benefits and in partnership with Capital Communities, when relevant.
  • Subject Matter Expertise
    • Act as expert regarding general benefit questions.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Seek to continuously improve benefits processes to enhance overall associate experience and align with the HR 4S's strategy.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention
    • Develop thoughtful, integrated approaches to promote benefits which support talent acquisition, internal mobility, and associate's retention.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization
    • Design and create data visualizations for a diverse audience and identify actionable insights through data analysis.
