Job Title: Benefits Business Partner

Capital Group is seeking a highly skilled Benefits Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our Global Benefits Team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing benefits strategies that support the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the day-to-day operational effectiveness of all benefits programs and processes in the APAC region.
  • Manage relationships with consultants and providers in respective countries throughout APAC, ensuring contract management and timely renewal.
  • Develop and implement benefit communications, including Open Enrollment, in partnership with the leadership team and in coordination with the Global Benefits team.
  • Maintain and update benefits information on CGWeb and other relevant platforms or documents.
  • Oversee pension services and their interaction with payroll.
  • Prepare input for benefits surveys participation in all 6 countries.
  • Analyze results of benefits surveys and prepare rationale and recommendations for potential adjustments.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulation evolution in terms of pension plans, and related benefits and insurances and benefits trends.
  • Demonstrate consulting skills by resolving complex issues and applying knowledge of Capital's plans and summary plan descriptions to everyday situations.
  • Coordinate with the Global Benefits Team members in overseeing offerings that cross regions.
  • Serve as a resource to team members to foster development.
  • Collaborate with Shared Services to manage complex/escalated cases.
  • Apply knowledge of Capital Group policy, updated regulations, and procedures to evaluate and address a course of action.
  • Establish and improve workflow and processes, contributing to end-to-end process quality.
  • Lead and/or participate in initiatives with broad impact to the business.
  • Stay informed of Capital Group's benefit policy revisions, processes, and related regulations, making suggestions for improvements.
  • Facilitate training sessions to explain Benefits to associates and reinforce engagement.
  • Organize events related to benefits in partnership with Capital Communities, when relevant.
  • Act as an expert regarding general benefit questions.
  • Continuously improve benefits processes to enhance the overall associate experience and align with the HR 4S's strategy.
  • Develop integrated approaches to promote benefits that support talent acquisition, internal mobility, and associate retention.
  • Identify and analyze benefits-related issues, providing options and recommending solutions.
  • Design and create data visualizations for a diverse audience, identifying actionable insights and making relevant recommendations.
  • Execute or lead on complex regional/global initiatives and projects, in partnership with the Global Benefits Team and management.
