About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Partner to join our team at BSI. As an IT Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in enabling IT to partner with the Assurance business stream to deliver business objectives, achieve maximum value from investment in and using technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to conduct investigations and assure the feasibility of proposed solutions within IT.
  • Ensure that business objectives and requirements are understood and provide a context with which recommended solutions are aligned.
  • Investigate business problems and opportunities, specify required change to business processes, people skills, information, technology, and organization structures and roles.
  • Assess and advise on the feasibility and relevance of proposed options for business and technical change.
  • Manage effective stakeholder relationships across varying levels of seniority.
  • Develop business cases through identification and definition of business and technical options that will address objectives and requirements, analyzing the cost, benefit, risk, and impact of each option.
  • Create, manage, and maintain robust reporting about demand and its influence and impact on the operating model.
  • Keep up to date on emerging technologies, products, services, methods, and techniques relevant to your business stream.
  • Contribute to the development of solution and business architecture.
  • Manage and work closely with suppliers to meet KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience working with stakeholders of all levels in a matrix organization.
  • High-level experience in business and business skills surrounding IT, particularly Project Management and Business Analysis.
  • Experience and understanding of the principles, processes, and practices associated with consultancy in the IT environment.
  • Demonstrable experience partnering with IT across organizations to deliver change while taking commercial considerations into account.
  • Previous experience acquiring and understanding insights underlying issues in complex problems or situations and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Broad awareness of uses of IT within industry, particularly within competitive or associated organizations operating in the same market.
