We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to join our team in New York. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a central role in driving the growth of our private wealth and institutional services business. With a strong focus on client relationships and revenue generation, this is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional looking to take their career to the next level.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and managing high-quality client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth across our private wealth and institutional services offerings. You will work closely with colleagues across the business to achieve sales objectives and ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.

Main Responsibilities

  • To originate and manage high-quality client relationships, including investment managers, family offices, and other allocators of capital.
  • To identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your network and industry expertise to drive revenue growth.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales objectives, ensuring effective communication and coordination across the business.
  • To develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to promote our brand and services to potential clients.
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional service and support to drive long-term retention and growth.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years' sales experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in selling administration, management company services, or technology solutions to private equity, real estate, venture capital, infrastructure, or credit managers.
  • An existing network of contacts within the US investment management community, particularly among real estate, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, or credit managers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and IT skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
