Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Alan Partners. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support for all engineering systems and services.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide first-to-third-level technical assistance for all engineering systems and services, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with users.
- Remote Support: Offer remote technical support to global users via remote control tools and telephone, fostering seamless collaboration across teams.
- Floor-Walking Assistance: Engage in proactive floor-walking activities to provide hands-on support and maintain a smooth operational environment.
- Ticket Management: Take ownership of tickets, guaranteeing timely updates, resolutions, and clear communication with end-users.
- User Lifecycle Administration: Manage user lifecycle administration, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management, to ensure a streamlined experience.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper configuration and asset management.
- Video Conferencing Support: Provide technical support for video conferencing systems and manage events or meeting setups to facilitate seamless interactions.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of helpdesk or technical support experience within global organizations, preferably in financial or professional services.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows 10, Apple macOS, and iOS.
- Productivity Tools: Expertise in Microsoft Office 365 Suite and cloud storage platforms.
- Video Conferencing: Knowledge of Zoom Video Conferencing tools.
- Networking and Hardware: Basic understanding of networking and hardware support.
- Scripting: Familiarity with basic scripting knowledge.
- Microsoft 365 SaaS Administration: Experience with Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power BI, and Flow.
