Role Overview

LRQA is seeking a skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Business Assurance Business Unit, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expansion of our services in key sectors such as food, cybersecurity, and ESG.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Results-Driven Delivery

You will manage a portfolio of strategic accounts and be responsible for winning new business opportunities with existing and target clients. Your goal will be to achieve significant revenue growth year-over-year, while maintaining a strong client relationship.

Account Management

You will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic account plans that maximize LRQA's opportunity for revenue growth. You will work closely with our marketing, Service Delivery, and Service Delivery Support teams to ensure seamless execution and maximize revenue opportunities.

Pipeline Management

You will be accountable for managing your client pipeline to ensure it is sufficient to meet targets. You will engage with colleagues and other local Strategic Account Managers to maximize opportunities and ensure accurate tracking of sales stages, values, and closure timelines.

Proposal and Contract Management

You will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality proposal presentations to senior-level clients. You will also manage contract renewals and RFPs to minimize the risk of loss and maximize revenue opportunities.

Market Knowledge and Strategic Prioritization

You will maintain a strong understanding of the market and its trends, ensuring you can communicate effectively with clients and identify opportunities for new products and services.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in sales and business development, with a track record of achieving annual sales targets.
  2. Demonstrable experience of working with large strategic organizations to develop sales solutions.
  3. Ability to communicate fluently in English and a minimum of one other language widely used in businesses in your region.
  4. Experience in preparing and delivering proposal presentations to senior-level clients.
  5. Knowledge of standard IT programs, including Salesforce, and comfortable using proprietary software for business processes.
