About the Department

The Wholesale Banking division operates under a dynamic business model, delivering comprehensive financial services and solutions tailored to assist our clients in achieving their strategic objectives. Our mission is to establish ourselves as the premier provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking entities, including small and medium enterprises, large corporations, financial institutions, and multinational corporations. Our dedicated coverage teams collaborate seamlessly with specialized units across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Group Retail to provide integrated solutions to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving all financial and business objectives set for the Cash Sales division.
  • Design and market cash management solutions to both existing and prospective Transaction Banking clients.
  • Formulate client account strategies to enhance customer cash wallet shares and encourage the use of UOB as their primary cash management partner.
  • Address requests for proposals and deliver presentations effectively.
  • Advocate for our electronic channel capabilities, promoting customer engagement with our digital platforms.
  • Facilitate new product launches through proactive promotion of our offerings.
  • Create and maintain sales materials while ensuring up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Optimize business and revenue opportunities through strategic product bundling.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met to finalize Cash Mandates.
  • Gather and maintain insights on local and regional market trends, competitor offerings, pricing, and activities.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in cash sales, particularly with large local corporations and privately-owned enterprises.
  • Experience in implementing cash management solutions is advantageous.
  • A self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal, sales, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities, proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Strong influencing and networking capabilities.
  • ECF certification is preferred.
