About the Wholesale Banking Division

The Wholesale Banking division operates under a dynamic business model, delivering financial services and solutions tailored to assist our clients in achieving their strategic objectives. Our goal is to establish ourselves as the premier provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking entities, including small and medium enterprises, large corporations, financial institutions, and multinational corporations. Our coverage teams collaborate seamlessly with specialized teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets, and Group Retail to provide integrated solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving all financial and business objectives set for the Cash Sales segment.
  • Design and market cash management solutions to both existing and prospective Transaction Banking clients.
  • Formulate client account strategies to enhance customer cash wallet shares and encourage the use of UOB as their primary cash management bank.
  • Address requests for proposals and deliver presentations.
  • Advocate for our electronic channel capabilities by promoting customer engagement with our digital platforms, collaborating closely with the CFS/Implementation team to enhance customer utilization of our services.
  • Support the launch of new products through proactive promotion of our offerings.
  • Create and maintain sales materials while ensuring up-to-date product knowledge.
  • Optimize business and revenue potential through product bundling strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met for closing cash mandates.
  • Gather and maintain local and regional market intelligence, including competitor offerings, pricing, and activities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in cash sales, particularly with large local corporations and privately-owned enterprises.
  • Experience in implementing cash management solutions is advantageous.
  • A self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal, sales, and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Effective influencing and networking capabilities.
  • ECF certification is preferred.
