About the Role

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies, large corporations, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the delivery against all financials & business targets set for TB-Cash Sales.
  • Present and sell cash management related solutions to new and existing clients, including non-bank financial institutions (NBFI) and public sectors.
  • Manage, defend, and retain existing customer portfolio, deepening customer cash wallet share and driving customers to use UOB as their core cash bank.
  • Promote electronic channel capabilities by driving customer utilization of our Global Electronic Banking (GEB) platform.
  • Support new product launches by actively promoting our capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Maximize business and revenue opportunities through product cross-selling.
  • Organize and/or participate in sales and marketing events for TB clients.
  • Source and maintain local and regional market and industry information, competitor product offerings, pricing, networks, and activities.
  • Identify product gaps and potential product enhancements/initiatives that further enhance local competitiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate sales discipline by keeping all Management Information Systems (MIS) up-to-date.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of cash sales experience, particularly with local corporate banks, NBFI, and public sectors.
  • Implementation and client services experience for cash management deals or solutions is a plus.
  • A highly motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, sales, and people management skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with good spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Effective influencing and networking skills, with deep knowledge of cash management solutions and understanding of NBFI client patterns and behaviors.
  • Certified ECF qualification is preferred.
