Wholesale Banking - Wholesale Chief Operating Officer's Office

The Wholesale Chief Operating Officer's Office is responsible for managing non-financial risk, driving digital transformation, and analyzing market opportunities. We are seeking a high-caliber Project Manager to join our team and contribute to our success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide project management and consultancy services on project/system implementation, process workflow design, and process re-engineering in Wholesale Banking

• Actively monitor project scope and resources to meet project schedule and budget

• Work closely with various stakeholders, including business users, operations, IT, audit, legal, and compliance, to ensure effective project governance

• Work with WSB businesses/functions on project prioritization to optimize resource usage, overseeing budget management, resource allocation, and prioritization among all projects

• Lead the project team in conducting comprehensive change impact and adoption assessments to ensure post-implementation business readiness

• Proactively manage potential risks, issues, and dependencies on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required

• Stay up-to-date on the latest technology and best practices in the banking industry and deliver changes to current processes with efficiency and cost improvement

Requirements

• University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of banking experience, preferably with knowledge of business banking products and bank operations. Knowledge in lending/debit card/insurance/robotic process automation/digital banking will be an advantage

• Previous experience as a project manager in medium-to-large scale projects will be a plus

• Ability to overcome challenges, create innovative solutions, and work in an agile environment

• Ability to communicate effectively and create connections with others

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)

• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
