Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the establishment of project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
  • Identify and escalate quality, safety, health, and environment issues to the appropriate line manager.
  • Maintain effective project governance, processes, and systems throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including detailed project plans and project execution plans.
  • Prepare design briefs and project programmes, utilizing industry-standard software.
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Manage the change control process, design management, and risk management to ensure project success.
  • Monitor and advise on project finances, coordinating cost reports with cost consultants.
  • Ensure the flow of project information between stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Conduct site inspections, progress reporting, and prepare project management information.
  • Prepare formal project progress reports and other documentation.
  • Interface with clients, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers at all project stages.
  • Manage permitting, statutory matters, submissions, and approvals.
  • Identify opportunities for business development with existing clients and report to the appropriate line manager.
  • Ensure key information and learning from each project are captured in our internal database.
  • Promptly invoice clients and utilize internal accounting systems to monitor project financial status.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Project Management or equivalent.
  • 2-15 years' experience in project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Experience and knowledge of main project management concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience of leading project management commissions for small to medium-sized general construction projects of low to medium complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, meeting tight deadlines, and working proactively as part of a committed team.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project and MS Office suite of products.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in project planning and contract administration.
