Senior Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

Citi's Commercial Banking franchise is a solutions-led business for the demands of mid-sized and emerging corporates. We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking.
This role requires a deep understanding of banking and investment products, as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience and a strong ability to work effectively in a team setting. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deepen relationships with clients and proactively identify future needs, roadblocks, or risks and expectations;
* Serve as the primary contact point for clients and manage internal departments to address customer service issues;
* Introduce solutions to clients to build and strengthen effective portfolios;
* Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure innovative and customized solutions that meet clients' individual needs;
* Collaborate with Case Managers to onboard and retain clients, ensuring compliance with Know Your Client (KYC) and other regulatory requirements;
* Identify cross-sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet;
* Drive innovation in solutions provided to clients and develop new business opportunities;
* Support Senior Relationship Managers in structuring deals that balance risk and reward;
* Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence;
* Assist in researching and identifying prospective clients;
* Network with clients to identify new business opportunities;
* Prepare and oversee new transaction submissions and annual reviews for submission to the in-business credit lending management and independent risk department;
Requirements:
* 5-8 years of experience in commercial banking or a related field;
* Strong knowledge of banking and investment products and processes;
* Ability to work effectively in a team setting;
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills;
* Self-starter with a positive and can-do approach;
* High level of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation;
* Ability to rapidly identify key priorities and communicate them clearly;
* Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients;
* Ability to adapt priorities based on the latest data insights;
Education:
* Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience;
