Job Description

As a Country Manager/Head of Sales, you will be accountable for the 'functional sell' of SimCorp product and services offers to new clients in APAC. This includes leadership, direction, and mentorship of the sales team and presales team on specific deals, as well as close collaboration with the marketing function in the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achievement of new and additional license revenue targets across Asia
  • Territory development ensuring all opportunities are qualified, developed, and managed effectively through to closure of a sale
  • Research, analyze, and confirm addressable market in Asia
  • Proactively support sales and marketing campaigns as defined by the global and regional marketing functions
  • Maintain and update accurate information in Salesforce
  • Engage, along with the sales team, with the client and develop initial relationships to discover the opportunity
  • Create and implement strategic and operational plans to improve market position, product range, innovation sales support, brand awareness, and customer focus
  • Articulate the need internally at SimCorp APAC
  • Identify and assess the likelihood of a win
  • Create pursuit team – including collaboration with senior locally and globally
  • Ensure detailed information transfer from the sales process to the implementation team after a contract has been signed
  • Be knowledgeable about different areas in SimCorp offers and become an expert in the value propositions of our solutions
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop the team to deliver effective marketing strategies
  • Explore new routes to market
  • Identify and prioritize key players and top targets

Requirements:
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree, advanced degrees preferred
  • Previous experience in a Sales role is critical
  • Previous enterprise sales experience in a fast-paced organization
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior leaders of funds in APAC
  • Ability to learn and understand business issues the SimCorp offerings solve
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically
  • Balance of people, selling and relationship development skills
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the lifecycle of the sales process
  • Excellent customer relations and relationship management skills
  • Ability to identify market trends impacting corporate sales techniques
