Treasures Relationship Manager, Consumer Banking Specialist

Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Treasures Relationship Manager, Consumer Banking Specialist to join our team. Key responsibilities include:
• Identifying customer needs through financial needs analysis and providing appropriate solutions on a broad range of banking, insurance, and investment products.
• Acquiring new affluent customers and soliciting business opportunities through cross-selling, referrals, and personal connections.
• Offering suitable wealth management products and services in accordance with customers' profiles and promoting these products while explaining associated risks.
• Attending to customers' queries on wealth management, including investment and treasury products needs.
• Performing call activities in line with the Relationship Management Model and other sales-related duties assigned by the DBS Treasures Centre Manager or Branch Manager.
• Meeting all sales and business targets assigned to ensure maximum contribution to the revenue of DBS Treasures.
• Performing regulated activities and TR insurance activities.
• Attending relevant training and briefings and reflecting customer feedback and competitive situations, recommending suggestions to the DBS Treasures Centre Manager or Branch Manager.
Relationship Building and Account Servicing
• Maintaining regular contact with existing customers to build and deepen relationships, reducing attrition.
• Updating customers on the latest product and market information and their account status to increase utilization and product penetration, increasing share of customers' wallets through portfolio review and cross-selling.
• Handling enquiries and executing financial transactions/orders and operations for customers.
• Keeping attuned to current economic and financial markets to be proficient in attending to customers' queries.
• Making cross-referrals of other consumer banking products to the appropriate staff for follow-up.
Customer Experience Management
• Providing superior customer service and professional financial solutions through discreet financial needs analysis and planning that satisfies customers' changing financial needs.
• Achieving and exceeding service standards set by the Bank.
Audit and Compliance Control
• Adhering to the Bank's policies, standards, operations guidelines/procedures, security, and internal control measures.
• Complying with compliance and regulatory requirements and code of conduct, particularly those applicable to selling, i.e., sales staff licensing and fitness and properness, KYC, FNA, PDPO anti-money laundering, and documentation completeness in account opening and each deal.
• Complying with registered capacity as well as any conditions imposed by the HKMA, including compliance with applicable requirements of the Code of Conduct for Persons Licensed by or Registered with the SFC.
Teamwork
• Working hand-in-hand with fellow colleagues and working partners to ensure all team objectives are met, maintaining team harmony and unity.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
• A degree holder, preferably in a business or finance-related discipline.
• Registration with passes in HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7, and 8 (Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4) and IIQE papers 1, 2*, 3, and 5 (TR General* and Long Term (incl. linked long term)).
• Registration with passes in IIQE Paper 2 within three months after commencement of service (for new staff without the required general insurance qualification).
• Preferably registered CI - CRWP (ECF-RWM).
• CFP and CFA designation would be an advantage.
• Excellent listening skills with an inquisitive mind.
• Strong ability to influence.
• Self-drive and highly ambitious.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is required.
• Other competencies based on competency matrix.
