Job Description
As a Team Lead, Wealth Management Credit Monitoring, Risk Management Group, you will play a critical role in supervising a team of credit analysts and monitoring specialists. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring accounts for margin compliance and following up on accounts in collateral shortfall or limit excess.
- Ensuring the team's monitoring activities are aligned with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Implementing robust credit monitoring procedures and controls to identify, assess, and address credit-related issues proactively.
- Collaborating with relationship managers, credit risk managers, product specialists, and other stakeholders to provide credit monitoring process recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- University graduate in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in credit control and monitoring, preferably in Private Banking credit.
- Strong people management skills, including coaching, guiding, and motivating team members.
- Strong knowledge of banking practices for Private Banking &/or Consumer Banking products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative mindset for continuous improvement.
- Good stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., VBA/Python) or Avaloq system an advantage.
