As a Merchandiser, Calvin Klein, you will play a crucial role in driving the brand's strategy, product development, and innovation. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless execution of samples and orders, while assisting the supervisor in day-to-day operations to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and business counterparts to execute samples and bulk orders efficiently.
  • Ensure product and service standards are met, while managing costs and expectations.
  • Negotiate prices and manage cost expectations to drive business growth.
  • Analyze costs and identify areas for improvement to optimize production processes.
  • Manage sample and bulk production delivery against planned timelines.
  • Oversee work-in-progress (WIP) management to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure garment and product integrity, style, and execution meet brand standards.
  • Compile and analyze reports to inform business decisions.
  • Support the supervisor in delivering on KPIs and driving business results.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a university or textile and clothing degree with 5 years of related work experience, or a post-secondary degree with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in apparel and materials.
  • Have working experience in apparel buying and trading offices.

Skills:

  • Strong product knowledge in men's and women's cut and sewn knit apparel.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Agile and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in data management and computer skills.
