Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyer, Merchandise Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with regional merchandising teams to develop and execute merchandise assortment plans that maximize sales potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute seasonal buy plans in collaboration with regional merchandising teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends.
  • Plan and manage OTB (Open-to-Buy) frameworks to ensure optimal stock levels and SKU holding.
  • Deploy effective replenishment and markdown plans to achieve sales and gross profit targets.
  • Conduct consolidation activities to maintain optimal stock levels and SKU holding at store level.
  • Support product training, defective report, sales analysis, and follow-up on shipment status.
  • Work effectively with allocation, retail, and planning teams on launch plans, delivery, and inventory management.
  • Support GTM (Go-to-Market) on marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • High degree of fashion aesthetic and interest in trends, lifestyles, competitors, and media.
  • Ability to work within the creative process effectively and support the introduction of new ideas.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across the team and organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work according to defined schedules and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and interface with regional merch, retail, planning, allocation, logistics, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in retail buying or a related field.
  • University graduate degree.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive and sensitive to figures.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
