Cargo Distribution Strategy Manager

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Cargo Distribution Strategy Manager. This is a key role that will play a critical part in driving the growth and success of our cargo business.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Cargo Commercial Teams: Drive the review and execution of distribution channel expansion strategy to maximize revenue for CX Cargo.
- Drive Digitalization: Develop and implement digital solutions to drive data-driven decision-making and improve distribution metrics.
- Maximize Revenue Opportunity: Standardize booking and fulfillment practices, introduce policies to minimize loopholes and inefficiencies, and optimize the distribution and booking process.
- Support Regional Heads of Cargo: Develop methods, tools, and mechanisms to recruit and manage CASS and non-CASS agents across all distribution channels.
- Manage GSA's ROI and Business Relationship: Maximize revenue and cost-effectiveness of GSA and develop an automated online settlement policy.
- Develop Automated Online Settlement Policy: Create innovative mechanisms to enable CX to collect payment from non-CASS agents through direct channels.
- Conduct Business Process Review: Prevent under-collection of revenue and minimize business risk exposure across all distribution channels.
- Work with Cargo Digital Team: Construct a distribution data model and dashboard for RHCs and other stakeholders.
- Establish Reservation and Settlement Policy: Optimize CX Cargo booking and settlement efficiency.
- Work with Product and Market Team: Expand bookable content for all channels.
- Review Agency Performance: Minimize inventory wastage within automated Cargo distribution channels.
- University Degree: Business administration, marketing, and sales.
- Data Analytics and Business Process Review: Good knowledge and experience preferred.
- Air-Freight Experience: More than 8 years, with at least 5 years in managerial discipline, preferably with commercial experience in Cargo.
- Business Acumen and Global Insights: Good business acumen, with global insights of the cargo markets.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written in English, Chinese, and Mandarin.
- Additional Skills: Background in distribution channel management and understanding of digital technology advantageous.
- Personal Qualities: Hard working, self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to drive business changes.
