Cargo Compliance and Partnerships Manager

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo Compliance and Partnerships Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Cargo Security and Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of customs, sanction, and partnerships-related policies, standards, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Compliance Programs: Develop, implement, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures related to customs, sanction, and partnerships matters.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop cargo customs procedures, identify customs data requirements, and propose system enhancements to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Publish and Maintain Procedures: Publish, update, and maintain handling procedures for Pre-Loading Advance Cargo Information (PLACI) in accordance with customs and applicable authorities' requirements.
- Manage CSD Library and IATA Publications: Maintain the CSD Library, subscribe to, and distribute IATA cargo-related publications, and provide quarterly updates on IATA TACT Rules.
- Support Cargo Security Initiatives: Provide necessary support to administer the implementation of cargo security initiatives and programs when required.
- Deputize for Cargo Security and Compliance Manager: Deputize for the Cargo Security and Compliance Manager as needed.
- Education Qualifications: Tertiary education qualifications or above.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' airline cargo industry experience with at least 3 years' supervisory experience.
- Job-Related Knowledge: Sound cargo services and operations knowledge, project management skills, and familiarity with international regulations (e.g., customs and sanction).
- Skills and Language Requirements: Self-motivated, ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, polished communication and interpersonal skills, excellent business acumen, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills, independent, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure, and excellent command of both spoken and written English.
