Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Planning
    • Facilitate the budget and forecast process for network cargo revenue, traffic volume, and their mix.
    • Conduct business performance analysis and provide periodic insights to management.
    • Maintain, operate, and enhance various models to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Commercial Analytics
    • Improve the content and format of commercial analytics regularly to evolve with the changing environment and maximize delivery efficiency by consolidating regular reporting productions.
    • Act as the business consultant of In$ight2, our new-generation platform where people and information gather to power business growth.
    • Provide expert support to commercial team members on advanced data mining and modeling to resolve complex business problems.
    • Partner with internal teams and external parties to ensure that data from various channels and internal reports are correctly collected, stored, and applied.
  • Data Science and Solutions
    • Conduct data and algorithm experiments to identify relationships and establish logic to enhance revenue management productivity and solutions performance.
    • Design and set up revenue management solutions and related decision support tools.
    • Develop and implement data collection from primary and secondary sources and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
    • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of solution performance and develop practical, scalable, and quantifiable business improvements.
    • Contribute to other initiatives and projects as a subject matter expert involving revenue management data and solutions.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline, such as Business, Science, and Engineering.
    • Prefer 3 years of relevant experience. Prior exposure to Lean, process improvement, and project management would be an advantage. Fresh graduates may also be considered.
    • Advanced skills in data management, data mining, BI tools, e.g., Qlikview, SAS, Excel, and basic knowledge in SQL, VBA, etc.
    • Proven success in solution development – conduct root cause analysis; influence other stakeholders to implement swift and effective solutions.
    • Excellent research and benchmarking capabilities – conduct market research and competitive analysis with extensive experience in data collection, synthesis, and documentation.
    • Instinctively numerate – love numbers and, more importantly, curious to understand the story behind numbers and able to drive behavioral improvement through numbers.
