At Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process airway bill data from cargo forwarders and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compile Cargo Load Plans for export flights and handle transit cargo according to load plans.
  • Communicate closely with warehouse and Load Control teams to deliver load figures accurately and timely.
  • Perform duties as designated by the Cargo Supervisor and other senior-level personnel.
  • Accept various cargo products, including general cargo, Pharma LIFT, live animals, and dangerous goods, according to company and industrial standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum HKCEE/HKDSE qualifications with at least 5 subjects passed, including English language, or equivalent.
  • Previous airline experience, especially in cargo operations, is an advantage.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English, with spoken and written Chinese preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
  • Able to interact with people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Sound PC knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Independent and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work on shift schedules, including overnight and weekends.
