Ramp and Cargo Services Manager

At Hong Kong Express Airways Limited, we're seeking a highly experienced and skilled Ramp and Cargo Services Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of professionals in developing and maintaining standards, policies, and procedures for Ramp and Cargo Services, including turnaround coordination, GSE operations, fuel services, anti-icing operations, dangerous goods, and cargo warehouse handling.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in related areas, including 3 years of managerial experience. They will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating potential implications of changes or introductions of regulatory, IATA, WHO, or company requirements, and formulating necessary action items to ensure compliance.

The Ramp and Cargo Services Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining master and station-specific PTS, engaging all stakeholders to contribute to OTP performance, and continuously seeking improvement for ground time optimization initiatives. Additionally, they will formulate training strategies for internal and external stakeholders, review and evaluate the quality outcome of the Train-the-Trainer Programme, and act as a trainer and evaluator of TTT.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and project management skills, with a strong ability to lead and provide solutions within the scope of Ramp and Cargo Services. They will also have excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with sound leadership experience, and a strong command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain standards, policies, and procedures for Ramp and Cargo Services
  • Review and evaluate potential implications of changes or introductions of regulatory, IATA, WHO, or company requirements
  • Develop and maintain master and station-specific PTS
  • Formulate training strategies for internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a trainer and evaluator of TTT
  • Lead for business development and project relevant to the areas of Ramp and Cargo Services
  • Identify hazard and risk, prepare risk assessment, and make decisions regarding risk tolerability
  • Responsible for budget preparations, cost control, and monitoring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of aviation experience in related areas, including 3 years of managerial experience
  • Previous experiences in managing IOSA GRH, IFQP, and Dangerous Goods are essential
  • Ability to lead and provide solutions within the scope of Ramp and Cargo Services
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with sound leadership experience
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
