Join Cathay Pacific Airways Limited as a Cargo Digital Manager and play a critical role in shaping the future of air cargo digital transformation. As a key member of the Cargo Digital team, you will be responsible for analyzing the needs and opportunities for Cargo digital transformation, formulating the cargo digital strategy and development roadmap, and executing relevant initiatives aligning with CX overall digital strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct proactive research on new tech development and monitor industry digitization trends, conceiving potential applications and use cases for CX Cargo and liaising with IT and concerned parties to conduct proof of concept (POC) or technology (POT) in an agile manner.
- Work closely within the Cargo Digital team to ensure a holistic view on digital transformation and analytics, identifying potential synergy and ensuring data requirements are well accommodated in any new Cargo digital transformation initiative.
- Collaborate with Cargo teams to develop business requirements on digital transformation with clear business objectives, developing or supporting business cases for new projects with sound justifications and collaborating with IT and FIN to go through the project approval process and project structure design.
- Act as the BU project manager for Cargo digital transformation projects, working closely with IT project managers and project team members to ensure projects are being well managed, objectives and benefits are being achieved, and in compliance with CX project governance.
- Represent CX Cargo in industry working groups or advisory boards, promoting CX preferred approach toward the development of industry initiatives and protecting the best interest of the company.
- Responsible for the people upskilling in CGO on digital project and solution development, and building up CGO internal system and process expertise to enable sustainable innovation development.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in the field of air cargo, logistics industry, IT or digital.
- Strong change management, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Possesses project management experience. Project Management certification (e.g. PMP) is a plus.
- Experience in product management. Product Manager / Product Owner certification is a plus.
- Experience working with Agile projects. Agile or Scaled Agile certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, planning, problem-solving, organizing, and time management skills with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple tasks within defined time constraints.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact with people at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
- Great team player with strong leadership and management skills.
- Good command of both spoken and written English.
- Able to work independently and proactively to drive initiatives and actions.
- Understanding of latest industry digital developments and trends.
- Experience working in a large complex organization.
