About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Freudenberg. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the cooperation with local distributors in all aspects of sales, marketing, product supply, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans, set up targets, and KPIs
  • Analyze sales and market reports, track defined KPIs, and implement corrective measures
  • Regular market visits and review meetings
  • Define distribution targets on client and product levels following strategic objectives and growth plans
  • Drive the creation and implementation of Trade Marketing activities in cooperation with regional Marketing and local distributors
  • Design and recommend a price and margin strategy for the product range in cooperation with the regional marketing function
  • Manage the sales and procurement process with support of CIC based on local stock targets considering lead times
  • Joint market and client visits together with local distributors and participation in regular sales-force meetings, including presentations and training activities

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience and education
  • At least 5 years of work experience in sales and distributor management with multinational consumer brand or FMCG companies
  • Experience in China is a plus
  • Experience in APAC regional role is a plus

Specific Knowledge:

  • Ability to efficiently manage high complexity covering all relevant business aspects
  • Good drive and execution; proactive behavior also looking beyond own area of responsibility
  • Good analytical skills and ability to identify and exploit growth potentials
  • Understanding of sales and distributor models and ability to optimize
  • Intercultural competence, also in Emerging markets
  • Ability to negotiate, interact, and cooperate on different levels of the internal and external organization; good team player
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness for regular traveling including market visits
  • Knowledge of MS-office
  • Language: Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese), English
