Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet the needs of the bank's assigned portfolio.
  • Work closely with the Team Head to ensure the operational and succession needs of the business units are met.
  • Provide expert advice to line managers on employee-related issues and counsel employees on employment conditions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with line managers, recruiters, and other HR counterparts to stay informed about market trends and enhance staffing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with line management to monitor performance management processes and identify key performers for succession planning.
  • Support the development of HR policies and procedures and ensure their implementation across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in HR, relationship management, or people development functions, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in implementing policies and programs for account services activities, such as placement, deployment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of the Employment Ordinance and related regulations, as well as applicable policies and laws.
  • Sound understanding of regulatory requirements related to HR advisory and recruitment, including HKMA's CG-5 & CG-6.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
