Job Summary

As a key member of our Business Development Distribution team, you will report to the Team Lead of A&H and lead a team to manage and retain our Group & Individual A&H portfolio in Hong Kong. Your major responsibility will be managing the existing A&H portfolio to achieve targets and goals, ensuring they align with our company's growth plan. You will build a high level of producer engagement and relationship.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Be the champion of our business and lead the growth engine of the business.
  2. Develop strategies to meet business targets.
  3. Promote and retain A&H Products including Group Life and Medical products (employee benefit) to corporate clients through Producers.
  4. Producer (broker/agent) engagement management.
  5. Handling daily quotation and renewal process, setting sales and negotiation on business journey especially major corporate accounts of Group Life and Medical products with our channels.
  6. Negotiate and lead the team to have a constructive discussion on how to close and secure the business within our targets.
  7. Provide quality services to producers with the aim of deepening penetration and achieving sales growth, extending the feasibility of the business share to all lines of business.
Requirements
  1. University graduate major in Business Management/Marketing or related disciplines.
  2. Minimum 10 years of insurance distribution experience and at least 5 years experiences in sales management level.
  3. Holder of IIQE Paper 1, 2 & 3 is a must.
  4. Experience in dealing with brokers and agents in Employee Benefits is an advantage.
  5. Experience in Human Resources or agent sales is also considered.
  6. Excellent understanding product and distribution life cycles and market evolution.
  7. Ability to drive the sales team to achieve the sales target and increase the profitability of the portfolio.
  8. Strong influencing skill and able to build credibility & partner with different stakeholders to drive sales strategies.
  9. Demonstrated facilitation, project management, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  10. Experience in Underwriting, Risk Management/ Product Management.
  11. Demonstrated ability to be highly collaborative and execute effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
  12. With passion for driving change with a specific focus on delivering exceptional customer experience and results-oriented approach.
  13. Ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders through strong leadership skills.
  14. Strong problem-solving skills with ability to lead the team to push the solution and progress.
  15. Have growth mindset that allows for continuous improvement of work process, tools or service delivery in a collaborative way that provides consistent innovation.
