About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Event Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing sales leads, and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to generate new business and maximize venue space bookings.
  • Identify and pursue potential clients through various channels, including prospecting, networking, and partnerships.
  • Conduct market research to identify target markets, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, track leads, and follow up on sales opportunities.
  • Conduct site visits and showcase the unique selling points of our venue spaces to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns, promotional materials, and digital marketing strategies.

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our venue spaces.

Sales Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and sales-related documentation, including contracts, proposals, and customer records.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and prepare regular sales reports for management evaluation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Holder of a recognized Degree, Associate Degree or Higher Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Hospitality, Event or Business Administration.
  • At least 3 years of direct sales and partnership experience and comfortable negotiating complex deals and key accounts.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in venue or hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques, prospecting, lead generation, and the sales process.
  • In-depth understanding of venue industry, including market trends, competition, and customer preferences.
  • Ability to understand clients' event requirements and translate them into suitable venue solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively sell and close deals.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • 5-day work; from 9am to 6pm. (One day a month on the weekend to cater to event needs.)
  • Overtime and working on weekend and holidays based on client and event requirements.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
