Sales and Event Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Event Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing sales leads, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to generate new business and maximize venue space bookings.
- Identify and pursue potential clients through various channels, including prospecting, networking, and partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify target markets, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, track leads, and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales campaigns, promotional materials, and digital marketing strategies.
Client Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Proactively communicate with clients to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our venue spaces.
Requirements
- Holder of a recognized Degree, Associate Degree or Higher Diploma or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Hospitality, Event or Business Administration.
- At least 3 years of direct sales and partnership experience and comfortable negotiating complex deals and key accounts.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in venue or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with sales techniques, prospecting, lead generation, and the sales process.
- In-depth understanding of venue industry, including market trends, competition, and customer preferences.
- Ability to understand clients' event requirements and translate them into suitable venue solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively sell and close deals.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
- Good command of both written and spoken English & Chinese.
