We are on the lookout for a driven and results-oriented Sales and Events Coordinator to join our vibrant team. This role will focus on generating sales and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Venue Sales Management:

  • Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan to attract new business and optimize venue bookings.
  • Identify and engage potential clients through various outreach methods, including networking and partnerships.
  • Conduct thorough market research to pinpoint target demographics, industry trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, diligently tracking leads and following up on opportunities.
  • Organize site visits to showcase our venue's unique features to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure both profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create focused sales campaigns and promotional materials.

Client Relationship Development:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Proactively engage with clients to explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Sales Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales documentation, including contracts and proposals.
  • Analyze sales data, monitor performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging market trends.
  • Prepare monthly reports and provide management with timely analysis of departmental performance.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Required Qualifications:

  • A recognized degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience, particularly in negotiating complex deals.
  • A proven track record of success in sales, ideally within the venue or hospitality sector.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies, lead generation, and the overall sales process.
  • In-depth knowledge of the venue industry, including market dynamics and customer preferences.
  • Ability to comprehend client event needs and provide suitable venue solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities to address client inquiries effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills for closing deals.
  • A proactive and self-motivated work ethic.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Willingness to work a 5-day week with occasional weekend commitments based on event requirements.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
