About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Strategic Distribution Partnership Manager to join our team at Microsoft Corporation.

Overview

The Sr. Partner Development Manager (PDM) Distribution/Indirect Providers role focuses on increasing Microsoft & Distributors' reach and growing the success of hundreds of affiliated resellers with comprehensive offerings leveraging the Microsoft Cloud platform.

This is a unique opportunity to drive significant growth and excellence within our partner ecosystem, empowering every person and organization to achieve more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead distribution partners in creating compelling offerings across all Microsoft Solution Areas in partnership with Partner Solution Sales Managers.
  • Develop and execute business plans ensuring alignment between Microsoft's overall value and the Partner's business goals while maximizing business opportunities.
  • Help develop and execute Go To Market plans aligned with Microsoft goals and objectives in AI, Security, and Cloud, optimizing customer & reseller operations.
  • Partner Sales and Acceleration: Develop a go-to-market plan and co-sell execution tactics for indirect business partners, helping to simplify and standardize the SMB narrative and offerings.
  • Partner performance and Impact: Responsible for partners' performance with Microsoft and accountable for maintaining regular connections with executives, sales, and delivery teams to identify and resolve blockers in execution.
Requirements
  • A minimum of several years of IT sales management and/or business development experience involving independent channel partners, preferably in an international context.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration, or similar experience.
  • A 'Challenger sales' mindset alongside adaptability.
  • Experience working with a multi-layer sales/distribution ecosystem.
  • Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders simultaneously in an international environment.
  • Eager to learn, accustomed to change, and driving change.
  • Fluent German language skills required.
