Institutional Business Development Manager for China Market

We are seeking an experienced business development professional to support the growth of our institutional client base in China. This role will be based in Hong Kong and will focus on developing and maintaining relationships with key clients in the region.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the investment industry and the needs of institutional investors in China. They will be able to communicate market insights to clients and represent our investment teams in front of clients.

In this role, you will work closely with our APAC Client Group team to understand each client's long-term investment objectives and policy issues and bring the resources of the organization to bear on behalf of the client. You will be responsible for retaining, servicing, and expanding existing client relationships, as well as targeting new segments and acquiring new clients.

Responsibilities include partnering with the Business Development manager to identify opportunities to expand client relationships, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, successfully balancing the needs of each client with the capabilities and resources of our organization, and coordinating client communications to minimize business risk.

You will also work closely with service teams assigned to each client relationship, providing direction to analysts on client-related matters, proactively seeking to involve analysts in client-related work, and generally contributing to the professional development of analysts.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
