About the Role:
Hang Seng Bank Limited is committed to service excellence and seeks a high-calibre talent to lead the strategic planning process for customer growth. The successful candidate will oversee the development of a consolidated customer growth strategic plan, lead discussions with key stakeholders, and report to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to drive customer growth and increase revenue.
- Lead discussions with product and channel teams to align on customer growth strategies.
- Monitor and report on performance outcomes to stakeholders across departments and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Oversee the overall budget for the department and ensure timely accrual, payment, and reconciliation work.
- Lead on strategic projects to maximize business value from customer portfolios across segments.
- Coordinate control management work within the department and ensure sub-teams take respective actions in accordance with timelines.
- Stay on top of compliance requirements, particularly cross-border related sales and marketing for banking segments, competition law, and fair value principles, and take timely actions to mitigate relevant risks.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or other relevant qualifications.
- Minimum of 8 years' retail banking experience and familiarity with business control and regulatory requirements.
- Seasoned executive with leadership, excellent communication, and influencing capabilities, and the ability to drive a diverse group including internal and external partners.
- Ability to deliver new or refined compelling propositions quickly for new revenue streams.
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a great sense of ownership to drive new projects from ideation to implementation.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service delivery.
