Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and closing sales opportunities with institutional clients in APAC, as well as supporting existing and acquiring new clients through various channels.
Your tasks will include:
- Developing and executing sales strategies with a focus on investment banks, asset managers, and asset owners across APAC
- Leading and executing sales projects
- Monitoring the business environment and competitors to generate new ideas
- Cooperating with our Product Development and Research teams in Frankfurt and Toronto
- Improving existing sales processes
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An academic degree with a focus on finance and relevant experience in institutional sales
- Specialization on investment banks and the ETF segment
- A native-level command of Japanese and excellent English skills
- Very good knowledge of capital markets, financial products, and indexing
- Competent in handling MS-Office applications
- A structured, independent, and precise working style
- Self-confidence and team orientation
