Vice President of Business Continuity and Incident Response

Objective: Oversee the comprehensive Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework across the organization, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Direct the successful execution of the BCM program, providing oversight and assurance regarding risk and control measures implemented by various departments.
- Expert Guidance: Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Contingency Risk, offering strategic advice to departments regarding business continuity strategies.
- Incident Management: Spearhead Major Incident Management initiatives, coordinating responses to critical incidents as they arise.
- Recovery Enhancement: Strengthen organizational recovery capabilities by leading the assessment of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and the formulation of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
- Testing and Evaluation: Develop and execute BCP testing protocols, conducting evaluations post-testing to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work alongside departments to facilitate mandated and discretionary activities related to Business Continuity Planning.
- Review and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive reviews and manage the implementation of new tools, providing support to departments as needed.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on business continuity management for both management and regulatory bodies.
- Drills and Training: Lead and organize regular BCP drills to ensure effective implementation of necessary controls.
- Support Role: Assist the BCP Commander during unforeseen events within the BCP framework.
- University degree in Business Administration, Operational Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business continuity management or operational risk.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to Operational Risk and Resilience.
- Familiarity with business continuity planning and operational risk management principles.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining risk management processes.
- Strong understanding of information systems, technology infrastructure, and disaster recovery practices.
- Self-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
